You’ll need a mallet to strike the bowl. Aritual’s leather-wrapped mallet softens the initial contact, giving the bowl a warmer, rounder tone that lingers rather than one that feels sharp or abrupt.

The pad lets you rest the bowl on a table and strike it without holding it in your palm.

None. Rest the bowl in your palm or set it on the pad, strike the rim once, and follow the tone until it fades. That’s the practice.

If the sound feels tight, use less force. The bowl doesn’t need much.

Each bowl in the limited run is laser-engraved with its individual number—one of 500. You can add one to three initials beside it.

Engraving is cut to order, so please allow about 7 additional business days before your bowl ships. Engraved bowls are final sale.

Each numbered bowl places you among a limited group of 500 owners. Ownership includes priority invitations to Aritual’s offline gatherings, preferred rates on selected unwind events, and other benefits reserved for owners.

Within 15 minutes of placing your order you can cancel from your account and start over. After that the bowl goes into production and the initials are set.

If a bowl arrives engraved differently from what you ordered, contact us. We’ll replace it.

Orders to the US and Canada typically arrive within 5–12 business days. We’ll send tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Orders ship complete. If anything in your order is on back-order, the whole order goes out together on the date shown on that product’s page.

If you’d rather have the in-stock pieces now, order them separately.

We’ve worked to keep shipping simple and affordable. For almost every destination we serve, it costs no more than $20. Orders above the free-shipping threshold shown on the site ship free, and you’ll always see your exact rate at checkout.

No. We cover duties and import taxes everywhere we ship. The price at checkout is the final price, and there’s nothing to pay on delivery.

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. Start it from your account under Return items. Once we approve the request we’ll email you confirmation and instructions.

We don’t charge return or restocking fees. You arrange and pay for return shipping. We don’t issue prepaid labels, and returns go to our fulfillment center in the United States. Use a tracked service and send us the tracking number so we can watch for it.

Changed your mind right away? You can cancel from your account within 15 minutes of placing the order.

We don’t offer direct exchanges at the moment. You’re welcome to return your item and place a new order for the piece you’d prefer.

Items marked Final Sale on the product page can’t be returned.

Personalized piece, including engraved bowls, are also final sale. Each one is numbered and cut to order, so we can’t take it back for a change of mind. Check your initials carefully before you check out.

We set aside 6% of every sale for work across three areas: poverty relief, animal and environmental protection, and children’s education. By the end of each calendar year, we’ll publish our donation receipts and a report showing where the funds went.
