No technique to master. One relaxed strike is enough.

A wooden core gives the strike weight. The soft suede-felt surface cushions the contact, helping the bowl open into a clear, sustained tone instead of an abrupt note. In white with a faint blue cast.

The bowl makes the tone, but the point of contact shapes how that tone begins. A softer striking surface keeps the opening gentler and makes the result easier to repeat.

Care

Spot clean with a professional leather cleanser.
How to use
  1. Hold loosely near the base. A relaxed grip gives a rounder tone than a tight one.
  2. Strike the outer rim once, about an inch below the lip.
  3. Lift away softly.

If the sound feels tight, try less force. The bowl does not need much.
